National Theatre Live
We are delighted to have signed up to National Theatre Live, allowing us to bring recordings of live theatre performances screened as a standard film. Sir Alec Guinness would undoubtedly have approved. More information can be found here: https://www.ntlive.com/.
The process for “licencing films” is slightly different, but for members and members of the public will see no change to the ticketing process, admission or screening. All you get to see is “live” theatre recorded to bring to our venue. What members get is the chance to see an NT Play, without the time and cost of travelling to and from London. Regrettably, the DVD’s cannot be loaned after the screening.
From the Trustees’ perspective the change in the admin is minimal we perhaps get less notice of what will be shown, whilst getting a clearer view of the available dates for screening. We then get to choose to screen during the open window or not
